The Best Manicures And Nail Art Designs From Fashion Month

When the designers are preparing for Fashion Month and their beautiful collections, they make sure to give every part of the look a lot of importance. Detailing is key when it comes to an outfit on the runway, it can either make it look amazing or kill the look completely. We have spotted some very interesting manicures so far, some complementing the outfit perfectly, to some being bold and creative adding to the entire look. Below are the best nail art designs we have picked, give some of them a try if you can.

LIBERTINE

The nails from this show made it to the news continuously for days, the floral nail art designs, charms and 3D elements were too hard to miss.

MARC JACOBS

This has to be our favourite! This manicure had the designer’s name spelled out with a metallic color over a very deep burgundy brown color.

PRABAL GURUNG

This half-dipped effect worked well in contrast to the neon eye makeup. (Also check out Prabal Gurung’s feminist moments on the runway)

PREEN

Last season they started the trend of flower face paint and this year they brought the flowers down to the nails. These delicate dried flowers were sealed onto the bare nails with a clear top coat.

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD

The nail art designs created for Vivienne Westwood’s show was inspired by her theme and recycled fabric from the collection was used to create finger puppets. Along with the puppets, red glitter and foil strips were also used on some nails.

JULIEN MACDONALD

The nail paint shifted to the outside of the nails for Julien MacDonald’s show, where a metallic silver stroke was made just outside the cuticle with a nude pink color on the nails.

HOUSE OF HOLLAND

This is definitely one of the bold looks both with makeup and the nail art designs. The bejeweled nails in silver and blue that make a checkered pattern complemented the makeup well.

BIBHU MOHAPATRA

These black nails had some gold and silver foils pressed onto them, from the Kiss Nail Art Kit.

THE BLONDS

Apparently these nails took 300 hours of work! Some creative blue holographic nails were paired with heavy metal details.

CHRISTIAN SIRIANO

We spotted a few nail art designs that had a waved pattern and distressed look and this is one of them. A dark base color was used with a light color on top to create that waved pattern.
