Hello Kitty Wine Is Here: Six Types Of Wine

It is safe to say that there is absolutely no shortage of wine in the world, but sometimes there is something that just stands out and you have to talk about it. It’s not every day you will find yourself sipping a glass of wine inspired by Hello Kitty. A fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio, has brought that to the table. They have partnered up with Italy’s Torti Winery to produce six different types of wine that perfectly capture Hello Kitty’s aura and also a place to put the adorable face on. Good thing Hello Kitty is old enough to drink. (Sanrio introduced the character more than 40 years ago, which puts her well above the drinking age :P)

You would think that rosé would be the only choice for Hello Kitty wine but they have a few different types of wine to offer. To name some they have the Rosé, Rosé Collection, Sweet Pink, Cupido, Charmy, and Lady to make up the collection. Other than being available online they have already started being sold at a few restaurants. If we had to guess what Hello Kitty wine tastes like, we would assume something sweet and sugary as its muse but perhaps a little more appealing to adults.

Sweet Pink

It is composed of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in white grapes with a elegant and harmonious taste. This wine will make you say that it does taste like the colour pink and it has the fragrance of berries and delicate sweet almonds.

Cupido

This is a sparkling white wine that has been made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes and has a dry and fresh taste to it.

Rosé

This rosé wine is also made with 100% Pinot Noir and has a light pink color and fragrant with fresh and fruity notes of raspberry and strawberry.

Rosé Collection

This is a limited edition collection of the rosé wine that has a Hello Kitty necklace around it with an Italian flag.

Charmy

The Charmy wine has been made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes from a variety of ancient origins of Burgundy and Champagne. It has a dry and savoury taste to it with a long-lasting back taste.

Lady

A traditional red wine made from 100% black Pinot grapes and has a very delicate taste to it with hints of raspberry, cherry and spice.
