Women In Suits Seen Voting & The Best Of #ElectionDay Style
Donald Trump won the US presidential election this morning in a victory that sent shockwaves around the world. If you have been scrolling through your social media platforms since yesterday you would have seen plenty of “I voted” posts and we loved some of the outfits we saw people wearing for election day, especially the beautiful women in suits!
Many women were seen dressed in all white and no it does not have to do with the white pantsuit Hillary Clinton wore at the last presidential debate. This fashion statement was there to honour the suffragettes who wore this color in the early 1900s to fight for the right to vote. We love how fashion influences people so much and is used in such a great way to support several causes, many women in suits were spotted during election day even though wearing suits was not the point. Wearing white was the whole idea but it was nice to see women in suits who just wore it because they admired Hillary’s look so much! #WearWhiteToVote has been trending on social media over the past few weeks now, encouraging people to help elect the first woman president, which unfortunately did not happen. Hillary Clinton however did manage to influence many voters with her own brand of power dressing.

The ‘I voted’ stickers were earned after you put in your vote and we have have put together some of the most creative ways people have showed off their stickers. Not everyone had a sticker so we saw them styling their outfits with red, white and blue colors.

One celebrity style that has been our favourite from this year’s election day has to be Rihannas. She is never shy to make a statement or to share her beliefs, and she was seen supporting the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton by wearing a #ImWithHer t-shirt. The t-shirt had a image of herself wearing a Hillary Clinton shirt.
