Cannes 2016 Film Festival Opening Looks

One of the key events in the international entertainment calendar is taking place in the south of France, the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. It is currently being held from 11th to 22nd May 2016. It is a place for plenty of opportunities for glorious red-carpet appearances, Cannes 2016 Film Festival opening looks were a delight to see, catch up on all the pictures here from the opening ceremony where American director Woody Allen’s film Cafe Society has been selected to open the festival and will be out in the UK sometime during September 2016.

The one girl that has been hard to miss and standing out amongst all is Blake Lively, one of the actors from Cafe Society. Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively and Jesse Eisenberg make up the Woody Allen-directed flick’s love triangle, which takes place in both Hollywood and in New York City during the glitzy 1930s. Blake Lively looked gorgeous showing off her growing baby bump in a fitted trail gown that had sparkle all over and series of sheer cutouts by Versace. Kristen Stewart had the look right off the runway from Chanel’s Resort 2017 show in Cuba last week. Some of the stars that were spotted during ‘Cafe Society’s’ premiere and opening night of the Film Festival was Victoria Beckham rocking one of her own designs, Bella Hadid in a beautiful golden sheer gown by Roberto Cavalli and Kirsten Dunst in this gorgeous pink gown with red flowers by Gucci. To mention a few others there was also Eva Longoria, Naomi Watts, Vanessa Paradis, Anna Kendrick, Julianne Moore and Mallika Sherawat.
