Women Without Bra – The Braless and Nipple Free Trend

Free the Nipple is a gender equality campaign, started in 2014 that argues that women and men should be granted the same freedom and protection. The movement aims to advance gender equality and to oppose sexual objectification. Over time we have reached peak nipple with a number of celebrities and designers promoting this campaign in their own way. One celebrity this year has taken it as far as she could as a marketing strategy for the #brafree and #freethenipple movement is Kim Kardashian. She has built her career around her buttocks and now after teaming up with Emily Ratajkowski they took to Instagram a social media platform that censors female nipples and allow male ones freely, a photo of a women without bra to promote female empowerment. Because of this I think we all agree we have seen her nipples so often this year that we are probably more familiar with them than our own.

Going bra-free is a very personal choice and if you are going to do it then we recommend to wear a dress or top with a beautiful cut on the back to show it off beautifully. During this fashion month there were plenty of women seen with this back baring fashion trend. Other than street style, famous celebrities have also been enjoying it on the streets and on the red carpet. It now seems as though the free the nipple campaign has transformed from a feminist statement to a sartorial one, as we see more and more fashion lovers take on this bra-free fashion. Many celebrities were seen rocking this trend in the perfect way and in their own style, but there is a uglier side of the bra-free trend too where you wear a sheer top paired with visible nipple covers. Either go braless or wear a bra! Women without bra is also that feeling every girl understands when they reach home or about to go to bed!
